The New Cumberland Art Gallery

The New Cumberland Art Gallery

Hampton Court's Cumberland Art Gallery occupies rooms designed by William Kent for a Georgian prince, now meticulously restored to their original scheme.

This new Royal Gallery houses some of the Royal Collection's finest paintings: masterpieces by Holbein, Van Dyck, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Bassano, Gainsborough and other artists who worked for, or were collected by, four centuries of Royal patrons. Discover these outstanding artworks in this illustrated lecture by Historic Royal Palaces and National Trust lecturer Linda Collins.
