Terms & Conditions

Booking tickets

We accept most major credit & debit cards. Bookings made online can be paid for by card (via PayPal) or with a PayPal account. Bookings made by phone can only be paid for by card. Bookings made in person at our box offices can be paid for by card, cash or cheque. Cheques must be made payable to "Evesham Arts Association".

Bookings made by phone or online are subject to a small charge. A further small charge is made if tickets are to be posted. Both charges are per-transaction, not per-ticket. There is no charge for bookings made in person.

All bookings must be paid for at the time that they are made: we do not hold tickets without payment. Incomplete online bookings are held for 1-4 hours and then automatically cancelled if still unpaid.

Tickets can be booked online up to 2 hours before the performance for collection at the door. Tickets booked online more than 10 days in advance can be delivered post for a small fee. Please do not request postal delivery of tickets less than 10 days in advance: at our discretion we will hold such tickets for collection.

Customers making bookings online for delivery by post should receive their tickets within 10 days. Please contact or 01386-48883 if you have not.

Customers collecting tickets booked online or by phone at the theatre on the day will be asked for the name of the booker - but may need to show the booking confirmation email or quote the booking reference number (e.g. #12345) if there's a problem.

Customers collecting in advance of the day of performance will need to show that they are the booker, or show the booking confirmation email, or give show name, date & booking reference number (e.g. #12345).

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. At our discretion it may be possible to exchange unwanted tickets for other seats at or performances of the show, or for vouchers of equivalent value redeemable for tickets to future shows. Tickets for sold-out shows may be returned to the Box Office for resale, but this cannot be guaranteed.

If an event is cancelled the ticket price will be refunded but any booking, card or postage fee incurred will not. We will do our best to inform ticket holders of cancellations but will not be held responsible for inconvenience or travel costs as a result of the cancellation.

Some events have age restrictions, which we will make reasonable efforts to ensure are detailed in the event information. Please bring proof of age if necessary. Those not of the correct age may be refused admission and be refunded only at the discretion of the box office staff. Unless indicated otherwise, we consider 3 years a minimum age. To comply with fire regulations, all children must have a seat & a ticket.

Up to eleven wheelchair positions are available in row H of the central seating block in the main theatre, but must be requested at time of booking. For technical reasons, bookings of wheelchair spaces can only be made by in person or by phone (01386-446944 10am-5pm).

Easy-access seats (those next to aisles, or in rows G, H & J which have no/few steps and are near doors) can be booked, subject to availability.

Patrons who would be unable to attend a show without the help of an assistant or carer are entitled to a free seat for their companion at events promoted by the Evesham Arts Association (marked 'EAA'), if requested at time of booking. This offer may not apply at shows promoted by outside hirers (even if tickets are sold by the EAA).

Concession prices on shows promoted by the Evesham Arts Association (marked 'EAA') are available to pensioners, children under 16 and members of the association. Concession terms for events promoted by outside hirers are at the discretion of that hirer (even if tickets are sold by the EAA): please see their publicity.

If you cannot provide proof of entitlement to a concession (e.g. a current EAA membership card when buying a members ticket) you may be asked to pay the difference at the door or refused entry. We reserve the right to cancel tickets which we believe have been obtained fraudulently.

The theatre

Seating for an event may be reserved or unreserved. Tickets with row letters & seat numbers (e.g. "E27") reserve a specific seat. Tickets simply numbered (e.g. "10") are unreserved.

The main theatre is fitted with an audio loop system. Please report any difficulty with it to a member of staff.

Please try to arrive in good time for your event. The foyer is open at least 30 minutes before the performance. Latecomers will only be admitted at a suitable break in the performance & at the discretion of staff.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to or to eject anyone (including ticket holders) whose behaviour is disruptive or dangerous, or who break these terms & conditions. Refunds will only be made at the discretion of staff.

We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal property brought into the venue. Enquiries regarding lost property should be made to the theatre office on 01386-48883

Unauthorised photography or recording during performances is strictly prohibited. Mobile phones and other devices likely to disrupt the enjoyment of others should be turned off.

We occasionally commission a photographer to take images of shows & audiences for use in our publicity and website. We take care to protect the privacy of those featured in such images and invite you to contact us if you object to any image we have so used.

Only drinks purchased from the venue may be consumed on the premises or within its grounds.

Only those over 18 may buy alcoholic drinks at the bar. Please be prepared to produce proof of age if required. Please do not attempt to buy drinks for under 18`s or you may be asked to leave.

Please do not take glasses or glass bottles into the theatre or studio space. Plastic "glasses" are available at the bar on request.

Children are the responsibility of their parents/guardians/teachers/carers who must ensure their appropriate behaviour at all times. Failure to do so may result in ticket holders being refused entry to events or being required to leave. Unless indicated otherwise, we consider 3 years a minimum age. To comply with fire regulations, all children must have a seat & a ticket.
