What shapes a mans life? That's what Sean wants to know - and a career guidance teacher, an angry monk and an overexcited Nigerian help him find out. This uplifting & reflective show takes the audience on a whirlwind hour of abstract humour - guaranteed to make audiences feel better about themselves. This is Sean's 2013 Edinburgh Festival show, the follow up to the 2012 hit 'Life Becomes Noises'.
Sean Hughes is the youngest-ever winner of the Perrier comedy award, was voted No. 40 in Channel 4′s Worlds 100 Greatest Comedians poll, had his own show on Channel 4 & been team captain on 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks'. Beyond comedy, Sean's credits include TV ('Coronation Street' & 'The Last Detective'), film ('The Commitments' & the starring role in 'Puckoon') and stage ('As You Like It' with Sienna Miller). He also won a Fringe First for his short plays & has published both poetry & novels.
