Paul Lewis
Internationally recognised as one of the leading pianists of his generation, Paul Lewis's awards have included the Royal Philharmonic Societys Instrumentalist of the Year, the South Bank Show Classical Music Award, the Diapason dor de lannee and two successive Edison awards. His concert performances and Harmonia Mundi recordings have earned him acclaim from all over the world, culminating in 2010 with the honour of becoming the first pianist to perform all five Beethoven Concertos in a single Proms season. He includes two Beethoven Sonatas in his programme.
