Oh Yes it is! Oh No it is Not! Unresolved questions of authenticity
This show has been postponed to June 2021.
The Turin Shroud, the Voynich Manuscript in Yale, the Getty Museum's 6th century BC Greek Kouros: three fascinating objects that are either of unrivalled world importance or are laughable fakes. We look at the evidence and the issues raised on which even the experts cannot agree. David Phillips studied history at Oxford. He has worked for Nottingham Castle Museum, and as a lecturer in Museum Studies and Art History at University of Manchester, where he published a book about museum practice, Exhibiting Authenticity.
