Charity Concert: Ahoy!

Charity Concert: Ahoy!

Ahoy! A charity concert celebrating Henry VIII's flagship 'Mary Rose', written and composed by the celebrated Alexander L'Estrange - famous for his grand-scale choral fusion works. The concert combines the music of Tudor times with an array of catchy sea shanties, taking in 'Greensleeves', 'The Sailors Hornpipe' and a setting of Shakespeare's 'Full Fathom Five'.

A glorious musical celebration of English Maritime history in aid of Cancer Research UK and St. Richards Hospice. Performed by The Hanley Voices and Prince Henry's High School, supported by the Ben Sawyer Quintet.
