Evesham Arts Centre always has a varied programme of events - something for everyone!

Thu 1st at 7:30pm - Jazz Night (PHHS) SORRY - EVENT CANCELLED

Jazz Night, PHHSPrince Henry's Jazz Orchestra present an evening of jazz music ranging from Big Band Swing to Latin, funk & rock arrangements. The Big Band Ensemble will be joined by some Jazz vocalists to sing music by Stevie Wonder, Dianne Warwick, Frank Sinatra and many more.

The Beggars Opera, EDFASJohn Gay's "The Beggar's Opera" was an outstandingly successful show, filling theatres for over 150 years. Performer & writer Jeremy Marlow examines its enduring appeal.

Sat 17th at 2pm and 7pm - All-England Theatre Festival (AETF)

All-England Theatre Festival, AETFThe Midlands final of the 2008 All-England one-act play competition.
The afternoon session includes 'The Dumb Waiter' by Harold Pinter, 'Overtime' by H. Connolly and 'Joining the Club by David Tristram.  The evening session  includes 'After the Picnic' by David Foxton and 'How to Talk About the Arts' by Jean Tardieu.  All the plays are 30-60 minutes and performed by the winners of local competitions.
A chance to see a wide range of drama at very reasonable cost!

Swing`n`Sinatra, Five Star SwingAn exciting night with hits from the Rat Pack, Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald. The best of Swing & Jazz from Glenn Miller to Rhythm 'n' Blues performed by 6-piece band "Five Star Swing" featuring Simone from the Ivy Benson Orchestra.

Route 66 - Rock'n'Roll and country
Lay back and take a musical journey through the era of American country rock, pop and the traditional classics of Route 66. Cruise the highway, losing yourself amongst the sounds of The Eagles, Cher, Meatloaf, Starship, Shania Twain, The Doors, Tina Turner, Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley, Bryan Adams, Roling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd and many more… Eleven musicians and a genuine Harley-Davidson on stage!
