Evesham Arts Centre always has a varied programme of events - something for everyone!

Thu 1st at 7:30pm - Jazz Night (PHHS) SORRY - EVENT CANCELLED
Prince Henry's Jazz Orchestra present an evening of jazz music ranging from Big Band Swing to Latin, funk & rock arrangements. The Big Band Ensemble will be joined by some Jazz vocalists to sing music by Stevie Wonder, Dianne Warwick, Frank Sinatra and many more.

Travel through the streets of London with a local dance school in an entertaining show of tap, ballet and modern dance.

Wed 7th at 7:30pm - A Visual Feast of Floral Art (Offenham Floral Arts Society)
"A Visual Feast" by Mr Michael Handy. Michael is Chairman of Stourbridge Floral Art Club and demonstrates at events across the country.

Sun 11th at 3:00pm - Sleeping Beauty (Vienna Festival Ballet)
Tchaikovsky's glorious music is the perfect complement to this enchanting & romantic tale of a princess who falls under the spell of a wicked fairy and sleeps for a hundred years - until the spell is broken by the kiss of a handsome prince.

Wed 14th at 8:00pm - The Beggars Opera (EDFAS)
John Gay's "The Beggar's Opera" was an outstandingly successful show, filling theatres for over 150 years. Performer & writer Jeremy Marlow examines its enduring appeal.

Sat 17th at 2pm and 7pm - All-England Theatre Festival (AETF)
The Midlands final of the 2008 All-England one-act play competition.
The afternoon session includes 'The Dumb Waiter' by Harold Pinter, 'Overtime' by H. Connolly and 'Joining the Club by David Tristram. The evening session includes 'After the Picnic' by David Foxton and 'How to Talk About the Arts' by Jean Tardieu. All the plays are 30-60 minutes and performed by the winners of local competitions.
A chance to see a wide range of drama at very reasonable cost!

Sun 25th at 7:30pm - Swing`n`Sinatra (Five Star Swing)
An exciting night with hits from the Rat Pack, Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald. The best of Swing & Jazz from Glenn Miller to Rhythm 'n' Blues performed by 6-piece band "Five Star Swing" featuring Simone from the Ivy Benson Orchestra.

Wed 28th at TBApm - 'Route 66 ' (The Show Providers)
Lay back and take a musical journey through the era of American country rock, pop and the traditional classics of Route 66. Cruise the highway, losing yourself amongst the sounds of The Eagles, Cher, Meatloaf, Starship, Shania Twain, The Doors, Tina Turner, Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley, Bryan Adams, Roling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd and many more… Eleven musicians and a genuine Harley-Davidson on stage!

Fri 6th at 7:30pm - Let the Good Times Roll (Beyond Eternity Promotions)
Following their fantastic successes of 2007, boogie woogie pianist sensation Peter Gill and his band ‘STATE 51’ arrive at Evesham Arts Centre with their fabulous show ‘Let The Good Times Roll’ . Using all the great songs from the period, the show tells the story of the birth of rock ‘n’ roll in 1955 up to 1960.
Get ready to be dancing in the aisles, this is one night you won’t want to miss. More info

The legendary pop failure John Otway gets back together with his old (sparring) partner Wild Willy Barrett for the Strung Together tour.
One of the least sensible gigs you'll ever see - a not-to-be-missed experience from two unique performers.

You are invited to join International Mediums Anna Galliers, Carol Green and Dan Price for an evening of Clairvoyance and spirit Communication. Known for their open, relaxed and sometimes humorous approach, they will endeavour to bring proof from our loved ones of a continued existence beyond this physical world.
