Matthew Boulton and the Great Silver Manufactory, EDFASBoulton was one of the most important figures of the late 18th century influencing both the arts and industry. His association with James Watt, Wedgwood, Darwin, Priestly, Banks and Benjamin Franklin all had their part to play. 2009 is the bicentenary of Boulton’s death when exhibitions will be held in Birmingham.
