OFFENHAM
FLORAL ARTS SOCIETY
The society was formed in 1978 by a group of village ladies under the
guidance of the late Mrs Jenny Cresswell. Jenny was a brilliant flower
arranger and an inspiration to them all, she encouraged them “to have a
go” – which they did with great relish. There are still a
few members from those days enjoying the current meetings!!
Meetings are in Offenham Village Hall on the first
Wednesday of each month from 7pm - the meeting starts
at 7.30pm with a demonstration in the art of flower arranging by a
qualified Area Demonstrator.

LADY
GEORGIANNA
The trio is comprised of the mysterious Allegra (Abi Seabrook), Miss
Hilaria Brent (Emily Hurrell, ‘cello), and Signora Storace (Micaela
Schmitz, harpsichord). Lady Georgianna performs the hits from Georgian
times (1730’s-1800 or so) using poetry, readings, and props in cabaret
or concert format, to show life in Georgian Britain, and they do
include audience interaction. Because it’s just so much fun, they
deliver workshops to inspire young people, covering dance, music,
history and mask making, with additional topics where requested.
Because of their leaders’ skills, we cover more than just the
Georgians, so they call it ‘From the Tudors to the
Victorians’.

FESTIVAL
Worcestershire Theatre Festival is the first round of a festival of one
act plays which culminates in the British Final with one
winner after groups have progressed through all the different rounds.
It's a very friendly independent festival and all types of

Although it is a competitive festival, groups can just take part and be
adjuicated on their performance - they do not have to opt to go forward
to the next round and we have many trophies for all different
categories. We like to have a festival atmosphere which everyone can
