Booking tickets
- Bookings made online can be paid for by card (via PayPal)
or with a
PayPal account. Bookings made by phone can only be paid for
by card. Bookings made in person at our box offices can be paid for by
card, cash or cheque. Cheques must be made payable to "Evesham Arts
Association". We accept most major credit & debit cards.
- All bookings made by card or Paypal are subject to a small
charge to cover processing costs. The charge is per-transaction, not per-ticket.
- All bookings must be paid for at the time that they are
made: we do not hold tickets without payment. Incomplete online
bookings are held for 30 minutes and then automatically cancelled if
still unpaid.
- Tickets can be booked online up to 2 hours before the
performance
for collection at the door. Tickets booked online more than
10 days in advance can be delivered post for a small fee. Please do not
request postal delivery of tickets less than 10 days in
advance:
at
our discretion we will hold such tickets for collection.
- Customers making bookings online for delivery by post
should receive their tickets within 7 days. Please contact
tickets@eveshamartscentre.co.uk or 01386-48883 if you have not.
- Customers booking online or by phone for collection at the
door will be asked for the name in which the booking was made or the
online booking receipt or reference (e.g. AG0101-4).
- Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.
At our
discretion it may be possible to exchange tickets for other seats at
the same performance, or seats at another performance of the same show.
Tickets for sold-out shows may be
returned to the Box Office for resale, but this cannot be guaranteed.
- If an event is cancelled the ticket price will be refunded
but any
booking, card or postage fee incurred will not. We will do our best to
inform ticket holders of cancellations but will not be
held responsible for inconvenience or travel costs as a result of the
cancellation.
- Some events have age restrictions, which we will make
reasonable
efforts to ensure are detailed in the event information.
Please bring proof of age if necessary. Those not of the correct age
may be refused admission and be refunded only at the discretion of the
box office staff.
- Up to eleven
wheelchair positions
are available in row H of the central seating block in the main
theatre, but must be requested at time of booking. For
technical
reasons, bookings of wheelchair spaces can only be made by in person or
by phone (01386-446944 10am-5pm).
- Easy-access seats
(those next to aisles, or in rows G, H & J which have
no/few steps and are near doors) can be booked,
subject to availability.
- Patrons who would be
unable to attend a show without the help of an assistant or
carer are entitled to a free seat for their companion at
events promoted by the Evesham Arts Association (marked 'EAA'), if
requested at time of booking. This offer may not apply at
shows promoted by outside hirers (even if tickets are sold by the EAA).
- Concession prices on shows promoted by the Evesham Arts
Association
(marked 'EAA') are available to pensioners, children under 16 and
members
of the association. Concession terms for events promoted by
outside hirers is at the discretion of the hirer (even if tickets are
sold by the EAA): please see their publicity.
- If you cannot provide proof of entitlement to a concession
(e.g. a current EAA membership card when buying a members ticket) you
may
be asked to pay the difference at the door or refused entry. We
reserve the right to cancel tickets which we believe have been obtained
fraudulently.
The theatre
- Seating for an event may be reserved or unreserved. Tickets
with row letters & seat numbers (e.g. "E27") reserve a specific
seat. Tickets simply numbered (e.g. "10") are unreserved.
- Please try to arrive in good time for your event. The foyer
is open at least 30 minutes before the performance. Latecomers will
only be admitted at a suitable break in the performance & at
the discretion of staff.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to or to eject anyone
(including ticket holders) whose behaviour is disruptive or dangerous,
or who break these terms & conditions. Refunds will only be
made at
the discretion of staff.
- We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal
property brought into the venue. Enquiries regarding lost property
should be made to the theatre office on 01386-48883
- Unauthorized photography or recording during performances
is strictly prohibited. Mobile phones and other devices likely to
disrupt the enjoyment of others should be turned off.
- We occasionally commission a photographer to take images of
shows
& audiences for use in our publicity and website. We take
care to protect the privacy of those featured in such images and invite
you to contact us if you object to any image we have so used.
- Only drinks purchased from the venue may be consumed on the
premises or within its grounds.
- Only those over 18 may buy alcoholic drinks at the bar.
Please be prepared to produce proof of age if required. Please do not
attempt to buy drinks for under 18`s or you may be asked to leave.
- Please do not take glasses or glass bottles into the
theatre or studio space. Plastic "glasses" are available at the bar on
request.
- Children are the responsibility of their
parents/guardians/teachers/carers who must ensure their appropriate
behaviour at all times. Failure to do so may result in ticket holders
being refused entry to events or being required to leave the
venue.
Website & Data Protection
- This
website uses "cookies" (small files of information which we store on
your computer) to collect statistics about its use. We do this to find
out how many visitors the website gets and to help us to improve its
design. These cookies are "analytical" cookies, created by the Google
Analytics &/or Statcounter services, which allow us to count visits
to the site and which pages are viewed.
- We
collect personal information from you when you buy tickets or
subscribe our mailing lists. This information is
stored securely and does not include card or bank details.
We may use it to contact you in event of cancellations etc,
to let you know about future events that may be of interest, and to
inform our marketing & programming policies.
- Information
the Evesham Arts Association gathers when selling tickets on
behalf of an outside hirer may be shared with that hirer.
Your information will not be sold or otherwise passed to any
other party unless
required by law or by regulations & rules (including auditing
requirements) to which we are subject.
